-3- <br /> <br />O. "Structure" means an),thing construeled or erected, '(he use of which <br />requires a permanent location on the ground or attachment to something <br />having a permanent location on the ground, such as a fence, wall, or building. <br />p. "Wild Animal" means a mammal, large or poisonous repiile and bird <br />which, in their uncapxured wild state, have ~he physcial capacity to be danger- <br />ous 1o the safety and wellare of an), person or property. Examples of such <br />wild animals are (but not limited to these examples) bears, lions, woh, es, <br />coyotes, cougars, bison, tigers, panthers, monkeys, apes, large alligators <br />and crocodiles (grea~er than four feet in length), large snakes, (greater than <br />six feet), and poisonous snakes, excluding dogs, cats, other traditional house <br />pets and livestock. <br /> Reducing such mammals, reptiles and birds 1o captivity, whether trained, <br /> raised or bred in captivity or otherwise considered domesticated in an), man- <br /> ner, shall not remove such wild animals from these requirements and regula- <br /> tions. <br /> <br />110.1~;3 GENERAL REGULATIONS <br />Subdivision 1. Prohibition. No person shall keep a wild animal unless such <br />a use is specifically permitted by this ordinance and all regulations are com- <br />plied with. <br /> <br />Subdivision 2. Regulations. <br /> <br />A. Enclosures. <br /> <br />(l) A wild animal shall be confined, sheltered and led in a primary enclo- <br />sure contained entirely within a secon'dary enclosure. <br /> (2) Ail primary and secondary enclosures shall meet minimum require- <br /> ments o.~ structural soundness and security as deemed satisiactory by the <br /> City. Ail primary and secondary enclosures - <br /> (a) shall be constructed of steel bar, link, wire or other suitable <br /> material of su.*ficient strength to contain the proposed animal; <br /> (b) shall be adequately braced and secure])' anchored at ground <br /> level; <br /> <br /> (c) shall be constructed such as to prevent a wild animal 5rom digging <br /> out 5rom under 'the enclosure; <br /> (d) shall be key or combination locked to prevent unauthorized <br /> trance; <br /> <br /> (e) shall be located so that zll access to primary enclosures must <br /> <br /> <br />
