15 F~inut es <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR APPEARANCE TO DIS(/3SS RfI%D IA!GHT-fF-hlKY; <br /> CASE OF MR. ~AVID SC~ULTE <br /> By: Anne Norris, C~,,~ity Develol~ent Director <br /> <br />Background: <br />At your last meeting, Mr. David Schulte appeared before the Council to discuss <br />his proposed subdivision of property along County Road No. 5, south of Voltin's <br />Oak Hills Estates. At that time, the Council requested that Mr. Schulte <br />proceed with platting this property in order to provide additional access to <br />Lot 4, ttlock 1, Voltin's Oak Hill Estates. <br />Since that time, Mr. Schulte has applied for preliminary plat approval and a <br />public hearing by the Planning and Zoning Commission on the proposed <br />preliminary plat is scheduled for March 1, 1988. Mr. Schulte is having <br />difficulty in obtaining property from Mr. Bill Weiss to construct a street to <br />link the southern portion of Lot 4, Block 1, Voltin's Oak Hill Estates with the <br />property adjacent to County Road No. 5. <br /> Mr. Schulte is requesting any suggestions or assistance the Council may have to <br /> offer in acquiring this road right-of-way. <br /> Enclosed are the following items for your information: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Proposed plat <br />c) Road right-of-way in question <br /> <br />Observations: <br />In the past, the City has assisted in acquiring road right-of-~'ay only in cases <br />of }~A streets. <br /> <br />R~commendation: " <br /> <br />Council ack-ion will be based on your discussion. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Af~inistrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Comm~nityDevelo.nnent Director <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
