Public Works Director Kapler replied a location at Town Center could be worked out. However, <br />the City does not control a lot of the vacant land in Town Center, and it would be up to this <br />group to work out the arrangements. <br /> <br />The Council discussed the possible locations of Elmcrest Park and Central Park, and the <br />possibility of the City contributing in-kind donations for the event. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Council was general agreement on the concept of the City becoming <br />involved with the 4th of July event, and to direct staff, including the Fire Chief, the Police Chief, <br />and the City Attorney, to work with Mr. Fredericks, and to include a case on the next Council <br />agenda for Council consideration. <br /> <br />Town Center Work Session <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman suggested a Town Center work session be scheduled for Tuesday, <br />May 30, 2006.
