The final
plat has been filed with the county, separating the single family residence from the business. The site had
been granted a credit based on the storm, water utility ordinance. "..Single Family properties with a
business on the site shall be charged 72 the residential rate and ¥2 the business rate until such time as the
business is no longer active on the site, at which time the rate shall be the standard single fam/ly
residential rate." The business is not connected to the residential site so the eli~bility for the credit is
removed.

Staffmet with you and toured your site as part of the fee review. The site produces agricultural products,
although the setting more closely matches industrial/commercial property. We have listed several
properties below that have similar percentages of impervious cover.

Company

Cormexus Energy
Old Castle Concrete
Lord of Life Church
(has wetlands on site)
Vision Ease Lens

Area Impervious
(acres) Cover %
36 50
19 46
41 19

18 38

The code does allow for calculation based on less than the full site area if a portion of the site is in a
natural, undisturbed condition. The reduced area method was used to calculate the current rate. We looked
at using this method however most of the site has been graded for placement of potted plants with the

8
