Absent: Commissioner <br />H~ell. <br /> <br />~_~: Discuss Hiahwav 410 Corridor Study: <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Nmrtin was present and made the following comments: <br /> <br />a. he is opposed to the plan to make his property part of the County <br /> park; doesn't want that incorporated in a zoning map or <br /> comprehensive plan; <br />b. opposed to the triangular single f~nily residential area proposed <br /> in the study; appears to be poor planning; <br />c. would like either multiple family or light industrial zoning for <br /> his property; and <br />d. the City needs to determine a corridor for a future crossing of <br /> the Mississippi River. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmermanstatedthat he would like for the Planning Commission <br />and Economic Development Commission to discuss the study at a joint <br />meeting. The Commission scheduled a joint meeting of both Commissions for <br />8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, 1988. <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed the information items included in the agenda. Ms. <br />Norris reviewed the Council's decision not to change that section of the <br />City Code regarding keeping horses.
