Ms. Kris Fluegel and Ms. Sarah Sawyer were present and reviewed their project with the Commission.. Chairman Zimmerman asked how ,many customers their business currently has, Ms. Sawyer stated they curren~¥have 3 classes each evening. Chairman Zimmerman asked if there were any hduses adjacent to the proposed site. Ms. Fluegel noted that there is one house on the site; they plan to subdivide that area from the rest of the property. Motion by Commissioner Shumwg~y and seconded bY Commissioner LaDue to recomnend approval of the request by b~. Kris Fluegel and b~. Sarah Sawyer for City participation in their proposed project. Further discussion: Commissioner ShUn~ay noted that the ~roject will bring another business to Ramsey and will bring a service that ms sorely needed in the comm,anity. 5~otion carried. Voting yes: Chairman Zinmerman, Con~issioners Hendriksen, Holm, ImDue, Shumway and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Howell. Reauest For Site Plan Review and City Participation (Tax IDcren~nt Financino~ in Proposed Project: Case of Mr. John Noard: Mr. John Noard and his engineer, Mr. David Adkins, were present to review the proposed project with the Commission. The Commission reviewed the plans, Mr. Noard's request for City participation in site improvements, the proposed storm drainage and proposed signage for the facility. Commissioner Sh~,ay asked whether the air conditioning condensers would be on the roof or ground. Chairman Zir~nerman asked Mr. Noard whether he had considered incorporating Ramsey into the name of his business. Motion by Co~missioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to reco~mnd approval of the request by Mr. John Noard for City participation intheproi:osed project. Further discussion: Tne Commission suggested that Mr. Noard incorporate or reference P~m~ey in the business name. Motion carried.
