Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Howell to <br />recommend approval of the proposed amendment to development standards in <br />the Critical River Overlay District contingent upon approval by the <br />Department of Natural Resources and the Environmental Quality Board. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Shumway, <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Reouest For Prellminarv Plat Annroval Of Riverv~ew Estates: <br /> Case Of Mr. Todd Elofson: <br /> <br />Chairmen Zimmerman noted that the proposed Riverview Estates is south of <br />Hwy. 410, west of Sunfish Lake Blvd. and consists of 6 residential lots and <br />1 commercial lot. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that City Staff is recommending requiring a fee to <br />satisfy park dedication requirements and maintaining the trail corridor in <br />the street right-of-way. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the City Engineer's report dated July 7, <br />1988. <br /> <br />Motion by. Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to <br />recommend approval of Mr. Elofson's request for preliminary plat approval <br />of Riverview Estates contingent upon DNR and EQB approval of the proposed <br />amendment to development standards in the Critical River Overlay District <br />and the Park and Recreation Commission review and approval of City Staff's <br />recommendation for park dedication. <br /> <br />Motion carried. In <br /> Proposed Pro~ect~ Case Of Mr. Todd Elofson: <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Mr. Todd Elofson is requesting $270,000 in tax <br />increment revenues to assist in the construction of a 40,000 square foot <br />facility to be built south of Hwy. 410 and west of Sunfish Lake Blvd. The <br />Economic Development Commission has recommended approval of the request. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Howell to <br />recommend approval of the request by Todd Elofson for City participation in <br />the proposed project, <br /> <br />Motion carried.
