Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #23-152 RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EASEMENT ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT FOR A MONUMENT SIGN IN THE LYNWOOD SUBDIVISION WHEREAS, Jon Aune of Lennar, hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant," has requested an Easement Encroachment Agreement (the "Agreement") to construct and maintain a monument sign for the subdivision (the "Sign") within a platted drainage and utility easement (the "Easement") on the property legally described as follows: Outlot L, Lynwood, according to the recorded plat thereof, Anoka County, Minnesota (the "Subject Property"). WHEREAS, the placement of the Sign within the drainage and utility easement would require an Easement Encroachment Agreement, approved by the City Council; and WHEREAS, the Applicant has a blanket Drainage and Utility Easement over the common areas of the townhouse subdivision; and WHERAS, the City Council reviewed the request for the Agreement on the Subject Property for the Sign during their regular meeting on July 11, 2023. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the request for an Easement Encroachment Agreement for a residential monument sign to encroach into the drainage and utility easement is hereby approved and authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator to sign it.
