Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #23-152 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EASEMENT ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT FOR <br />A MONUMENT SIGN IN THE LYNWOOD SUBDIVISION <br />WHEREAS, Jon Aune of Lennar, hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant," has requested <br />an Easement Encroachment Agreement (the "Agreement") to construct and maintain a monument <br />sign for the subdivision (the "Sign") within a platted drainage and utility easement (the <br />"Easement") on the property legally described as follows: <br />Outlot L, Lynwood, according to the recorded plat thereof, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />(the "Subject Property"). <br />WHEREAS, the placement of the Sign within the drainage and utility easement would <br />require an Easement Encroachment Agreement, approved by the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the Applicant has a blanket Drainage and Utility Easement over the common <br />areas of the townhouse subdivision; and <br />WHERAS, the City Council reviewed the request for the Agreement on the Subject <br />Property for the Sign during their regular meeting on July 11, 2023. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the request for an Easement Encroachment Agreement for a residential monument sign to <br />encroach into the drainage and utility easement is hereby approved and authorizes the Mayor and City <br />Administrator to sign it. <br />
