Information Title: Adopt Resolution #2 3 156 Denying a Mara age Ectablichment and Mara age Therapy License - This case was pulled from the Consent Agenda and put on the Regular Agenda as Case 7.0. Purpose/Background: Junjie Liu has submitted license applications for Therapeutic Massage Therapist and Therapeutic Massage Establishment, Serenity Path Massage LLC dba Serene Path Massage located at 7962 Sunwood Dr NW. Suite 100, Ramsey MN 55303. Notification: Applicant will be notified of denial recommendation via email by July 7, 2023 along with a mailed letter. Recommendation: After completion of the required Background Check, Chief Katers recommends denial of the licenses for Therapeutic Massage Establishment for Serenity Path Massage LLC dba Serene Path Massage located at 7962 Sunwood Dr NW. Suite 100, Ramsey MN 55303 and Therapeutic Massage Therapist for Junjie Liu. The basis for the denial recommendation is: 1. Education requirements of city ordinance are not satisfied as the school listed is not accredited by the U.S. Department of Education. 2. Residence history listed in the application does not coincide with other licenses previously held by the applicant.
