CC Regular Session 6. 5. <br />Meeting Date: 07/ 11 /2023 <br />By: Todd Larson, Community Development <br />Information <br />Title: <br />PUBLIC HEARING - Easement vacation in COR TWO. <br />Purpose/Background: <br />With the replatting of three lots into two lots associated with the Aldi project, there are several existing easements <br />that are no longer needed. All existing drainage and utility easements are proposed to be vacated and <br />re-established with the proposed plat of COR FOUR. This situation is common for replatting of multiple platted <br />parcels. <br />The utility companies that responded to the notification stated that there were no objections to this proposal. <br />Notification: <br />Public hearing notices were mailed to property owners within 350 feet of the site. A legal notice was placed in <br />the June 23 Anoka Union Herald Newspaper. Private utility companies were notified via email. <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />Alternatives to Consider: <br />1. Approve the easement vacation request as recommended by staff. <br />2. Approve the easement vacation request with modifications. <br />3.
