Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #23-150 RESOLUTION APPROVING A VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS IN COR TWO RECITALS 1. The City of Ramsey is anticipating development of three City -owned platted parcels legally described as follows: Lots 1, 2, and 3, Block 1, COR TWO, Anoka County, Minnesota (the "Subject Property") 2. That the proposed development includes replatting of these three parcels and that the replatting of these platted parcels into new parcels with adjusted lot lines necessitate reestablishing drainage and utility easements. 3. That a public hearing, pursuant to Section 117-56 (Easement Vacation) of the Ramsey City Code and Section 12.6 of the City Charter, was held on July 11, 2023, and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are available. 4. That the City Council reviewed and approved the plat of COR FOUR on July 11, 2023. FINDINGS OF FACT 1. That the easement vacation will not violate the intent and purpose of the Comprehensive Plan. 2. That the easement vacation is necessary to accomplish the Property Owner's intended purpose. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the Ramsey City Council hereby vacates of all the platted drainage and utility easements on the Subject Property, as shown on the Proposed Easement Vacation exhibit, contingent upon subsequently recording the plat of COR FOUR reestablishing new drainage and utility easements.
