<br />WHEREAS, on July 11, 2023, the Ramsey City Council rejected bids for Street Maintenance <br />Project #23-22, 2023 Spray Patching Contracted Services, and directed the City Engineer to prepare a <br />new plan for enlisting contracted services to spray patch all remaining streets previously proposed to be <br />patched in 2023 but that were not previously patched by staff or using contracted services, and that are <br />not proposed to be patched by staff or using other contracted services in 2023; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 25, 2023, the Ramsey City Council approved plans prepared by the City <br />Engineer and authorized solicitation of quotes for Street Maintenance Project #23-23, 2023 Spray <br />Patching Contracted Services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on August 3, 2023, two (2) quotes were received by 10 AM and both quotes were <br />found to comply with the Request for Quotes and are tabulated below; and <br /> <br />Contractor Quote <br />Pavement Resources $ 55,000.00 <br />RCM Specialties, Inc. $ 49,725.00 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the quote of RCM Specialties, Inc. of Hastings, Minnesota, in the amount of <br />$49,725.00 for construction of the proposed project in accordance with the approved Request for Quotes, <br />is the lowest responsible proposer and their quote shall be and hereby is accepted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with said lowest responsible proposer for construction of the proposed project <br />for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Musgrove, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br />Resolution #23-177 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />
