Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #23-184 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CENTRAL <br />PARK MAIN PARKING LOT RECONSTRUCTION, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #23- <br />02 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the Central Park main parking <br />lot; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-089, adopted April 12th, <br />2022, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolten & Menk, Inc. for Topographic <br />Survey of the project area; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-285, adopted December <br />13, 2022, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for <br />Improvement Project #23-02, Central Park Main Parking Lot Reconstruction; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-166, adopted July 25, 2023 <br />the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and <br />authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for construction staking and as -built survey for <br />$11,927.00 from Bolton & Menk, Inc. for the same improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on July 28 and August 4, <br />2023; and <br />WHEREAS, ten (10) bids were received, opened and tabulated on August 18, 2023, and <br />the following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and <br />advertisement for bids; and <br />Contractor <br />Total Bid <br />Veit & Company, Inc. <br />$561,036.71 <br />Peterson Companies <br />$562,997.02 <br />LinnCo, Inc. <br />$613,928.50 <br />C&L Excavating, Inc. <br />$625,961.85 <br />Winberg Companies LLC <br />$632,092.90 <br />Meyer Contracting, Inc. <br />$634,239.34 <br />US Site Work <br />$644,097.65 <br />New Look Contracting, Inc. <br />$ 6 5 9, 8 5 9.5 0 <br />T.A.
