5. 17. <br />CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />08/22/2023 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Address infrastructure needs. <br />Information <br />Title <br />Adopt Resolution #23-196 Approving the Final Plat of "Foster Addition" <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The proposed minor plat re -plats the three parcels southeast of 143rd Avenue and Jasper St. NW that form the <br />Public Works Campus and Foster Cemetery property into three new parcels --one for the Public Works Building, <br />one for the Water Treatment Plant, and one for Foster Cemetery. The plat includes some adjacent parcels that <br />were created for right-of-way purposes and formally dedicates them as roadways as a "clean-up" measure. <br />The name of the plat honors the historic Foster Cemetery, c. 1865, which is included in this plat. <br />Notification: <br />As a minor final plat, no notification is required. Notification was provided with earlier phases of the Water <br />Treatment Plant project. <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />Alternatives to Consider: <br />1. Approve the final plat as presented. <br />2. Approve the final plat with modifications. <br />3.
