T11iI
Hakanson
Anderson
SECTION 1
CONSULTANT PROFILE
Company Background
A Solid Foundation of Engineering Services
Hakanson Anderson is a client -centered practice offering
professional consulting services in the areas of municipal
engineering, environmental engineering, water resources,
land development, transportation engineering, and land
surveying. We have served clients in the Twin Cities
metropolitan area and outstate communities for more
than 45 years.
The firm was founded in 1975 with a mission of providing
personalized attention, timely responses, and most
importantly, cost-effective solutions that meet project
requirements, yet still fit within a budget. We offer the
experience needed for projects that require ingenuity and a
high level of expertise. That is why municipalities as small
as Nowthen and as large as the City of Minneapolis trust
Hakanson Anderson. Clients can rely on our proven history
in municipal engineering and construction administration.
Over the years, we've developed long-lasting partnerships
with municipalities and earned their high regard. We work
hard to maintain our reputation as a steadfast, reliable
resource, respected across a variety of industries.
Innovative Solutions for Diverse Is u
Though we have remained focused on our core disciplines —
transportation, wastewater, water, stormwater, and
surveying —the nature of our work has become increasingly
diverse. For example, to respond to more stringent
stormwater quality standards, we have broadened our
expertise to include advanced processes such as infiltration
basins and hydrodynamic separators. We're applying these
technologies for stormwater treatment in constricted
areas where space for traditional storage and treatment
ponds is limited and continue to help our clients find other
opportunities. Similarly, our transportation projects have
become more complex as we look for ways to implement
projects that address functional transportation needs while
minimizing the disruption to the local community.
Staffing
An Experienced, Dedicated Team
We provide a multi -disciplined staff of 36 full-time
employees. Our Engineering Department consists of
Registered Engineers (7), Engineers -in -Training (2),
Engineering Technicians (4), an Environmental Specialist
(i), and Construction Observers (6). The Surveying
Department includes Registered Land Surveyors (3),
CADD Technicians (2), Survey Crew Chiefs (4), Survey
Technicians (2), and GIS Specialists (2). We also employ an
Administrative Assistant (1), Receptionist (1), and Business
Manager/Human Resources (i).
CONSULTANT PROFILE 1
