Hakanson <br />lip Anderson <br />SECTION 3 <br />PROJECT APPROACH <br />Task 8 — Prepare Final Documents <br />Prepare final drawings, estimated quantities, specifications, conditions of the contract and bidding requirements. <br />Coordinate these plans and specifications with the permitting agencies. <br />Task 9 — Final Construction Cost Estimate <br />Finalize the estimated cost of construction and value engineer as required to maintain budget. <br />Task 10 — Quality Control Review <br />Schedule and conduct an in-house quality control review of the final draft of the construction documents. <br />Task 1 1 — Pre -bid Conference <br />Coordinate and attend pre -bid conference if the City requests one. <br />Task 12 - Bidding Process <br />Respond to Contractor questions, review and approve proposed Contractor substitutions in coordination with the City. <br />Prepare and coordinate any necessary Addenda. <br />Task 13 — Bid Opening <br />We will attend and assist the City in conducting the bid opening. After the bid opening, we will prepare a bid tabulation to <br />verify that the bid amounts agree with the estimated quantities and unit prices. If the City prefers, we can also conduct <br />the bid opening electronically through QuestCDN. <br />Deliverables: Final construction drawings and specifications, and final construction cost estimate. Draft addenda if <br />necessary. Prepare bid tabulation and award recommendation letter. <br />— CONSTRUCTION SERVICES <br />Upon request of the City, Hakanson Anderson will provide the following Construction Services as an Additional Service. <br />Task 1 — Pre -Construction Conference <br />Coordinate and attend preconstruction conference. <br />Task 2 - Construction Administration <br />The Project Manager and/or Design Engineers will be available during construction as needed to respond to questions and <br />to assist City Staff in interpreting the construction documents. <br />PROJECT APPROACH 10 <br />
