Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> ILESOLUTION #05-XX.~XXX <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION GIL&NTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF RUM i~[VER MEADOWS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Nadonal Growth LLC, hereinafter refmTed to as "Applicant", has properly <br /> applied for final plat approval of Rum River Meadows on the following described property <br /> located in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br /> The north 330.00 feet of the Northwest Quartet' of the Northeast Quarter of Section 23, <br /> Township 32, Range 25, together with an easement for road pm'poses over the west <br /> 33.00 feet of that pm~ of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 23 which lies north of <br /> County State Aid Highway No. 5, according to the Unked States Government smwey <br /> thereof, Anoka Count),, Minnesota. <br /> <br /> (the "Subject Property") <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 13, 2004, the City of Ramsey received an application and <br /> sketch plan from National Growth for a plat to be named Rum River Estates; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January. 6, 2005, the Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan; <br />and <br /> WHEREAS, on .January 25, 2005, the City Council reviewed the sketch plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 1 I, 2005, the Developer submitted a preliminary plat for Rum <br />River Estates to the City; ami <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 7, 2005, the Planniug Commission conducted a public hearing and <br />recommended the City Council deny the prelindnm%plat; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 14, 2005, the Park and Recreation Cmnmission recommended <br />park dedication and trail ~bes be satisfied tln:ough a cash payment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 10, 2005, the City Council tabled action on the request fbr <br />preliminary plat approval of Rrna River Estates; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 14, 2005, the City Council directed City Staff to prepare findings <br />of fact to assist them in their decision regarding the request for preliminary plat approval of Rum <br />River Estates; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 26, 2005, pursuant to Resolution No. 05-07-228, thc CITY adopted <br />findings of hct #728 supporting the rczoning of the Suhject Property from R-1 Residential to <br />Platmed Unit Development ((PUD) to facilitate the development of Rum River Meadows; and <br /> <br />-134- <br /> <br /> <br />
