Councihnember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-05- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF AN INTER. IM USE PERMIT FOR <br />OUTDOOR STORAGE ON AN UNIMPROVED SURFACE 1N THE R-1 RESIDENTIAL <br />DISTRICT, BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT # , AND DECLARING THE TERMS <br />OF SAME. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, RV World, Inc., herohrafter referred to as "Permlttee", has properly applied <br />to the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an interhn use permit (Permit) to allow outdoor storage of <br />RVs an&/or travel trailers on an unimproved surfhce on the property located itt 14453 Llama St. <br />and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The Noribwest Quarter of the Sontheast Quarter of Section 29, Township 32, Range <br />25, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Propcrry"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Plamiii>g Comnrission met on May 4, 2006, conducted a public hearh~g <br />and recommended that the Ci~, Council approve the request to store RV's and/or travel trailers <br />outcioors on an unimproved surPace on the Subject Property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Cooncil met on May 23, 2006 to review the request for an interim <br />usc permit to allow for outdoor storage on an unimproved surface on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF '//'HE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />This permit is issned pursuant to Section 9.03.06 (Interim Use Pe~units) of the Ramsey City <br />Code. The conditions of this permit are as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />The Permittee is herein allowed to store a maximum of thirty-five (35) travel trailers an&~or <br />recreational vehicles (RVs) in an orderly manner in a conlined area n. ot to exceed 100 feet by <br />225 feet located in the northeru portion of the Snbject Property as shown on the attached <br />exhibit, <br /> <br />2) The Permittee herein agrees that ail travel trailers and/or RVs will be stored on grass and <br /> such area will be mowed and trimmed on a regular basis. <br /> <br />3) This Permit shall commence on the date of City Council approval arid shall expire on <br /> September 30, 2007. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />This Permit is applicable only to the outdoor storage of travel trailers and/or RVs and <br />specifically excludes sales of travel trailers and/or RVs fi:om the Subject Property. <br />Additionally, use of the property for the outdoor storage of anything other than travel trailers <br />and/or RVs is prohibited. <br /> <br />-I80- <br /> <br /> <br />
