Change Order No ~ <br />Date: May 10 2006 <br />Project: IP 03-20 NW Sanitary Sewer and Watermah] Extension <br />Owner: City of Ramsey <br />Contractor: LaTourConstructionlnc <br /> <br />Description of Changes and Justification: <br /> <br />Upon initiating thc construction of the northwest sanitary sewer soi] conditions were <br />encountered where organic soils were discovered to be deeper than the bottom of the <br />saaitary sewer. The Contractor was requested to perform soil testing for the pu¢ose of <br />determining a more economical altenaate route for the sanitary sewer. ~1 alternate route <br />located which reduced the length of sanitary sewer by 264 l~et. T~s change order <br />acknowledges the cost reduction as a result of this modification. The Contractor is <br />requesting compensation for one half of the dewatering costs incurred in placing <br />dewatcring points.along a 671 foot length along the original sewer alignment, and also <br />compensation for fi~cl and ma~power to check pumps while searching for an alternate <br />sewer route.
