g) The Responsible Authority shall Prepare a public <br />document setting forth the rights of the data subject <br />pursuant to the Miranesota Government Data Practices <br />Act and the specific procedures in effect in the City <br />for access by the data subject to public or private <br />data on individuals. <br /> <br />h) The Responsible Authority or designee shall allow <br />another Responsible Authority or designee access to <br />data classified as not public only when the access is <br />authorized or required by statue or federal law. The <br />Responsible Authority or designee when supplying govern- <br />ment data umder this provision may require the request- <br />ing Responsible Authority to pay the actual cost of <br />supplying the data. <br /> <br />i) The Responsible Authority shall, when appropriate, <br />apply to the Commissioner of Administration for permiss- <br />ion to classify temporarily data or types of data on in- <br />dividuals as private or confidential, or data not on in- <br />dividuals as non-public, on a temporary basis ~ntil a <br />proposed statute can be acted upon by the Legislature. <br /> <br />j) Upon request to the Responsible Authority, or designee, <br />any individual must be informed whether he is the subject <br />of stored data on individuals, and whether it is classified <br />as public, private or confidential. Upon further request, <br />the individual who is the subject of stored private data <br />on individuals shall be shown the data without any charge <br />to him and, if he desires shall be informed of the content <br />and meaning of that data. The Responsible Authority or <br />designee shall provide copies of the private data upon <br />request by the individual subject of the data, and the <br />cost of providing copies shall be borne by the individual. <br />The Responsible Authority or designee shall comply imme- <br />diately, if possible, with any request made by an indivi- <br />dual under this paragraph, or within five days of the <br />date of the request, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and <br />legal holidays if immediate compliance is not possible. <br />If the Responsible Authority or designee cannot comply <br />with the request within that time, he shall so inform <br />the individual, and may have an additional five days <br />within which to comply with the request, excluding <br />Saturdays, Sunday and legal holidays. <br /> <br />k) If an individual contests the accuracy or complete- <br />ness of public or private data concerning himself, and <br />notifies in writing the Responsible Authority describing <br />the nature of the disagreement, the Responsible Authority <br /> <br /> <br />
