Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #80-87 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRO- POSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of Improve- ment Project #79-10 Tungsten and Front Street Storm Sewer and the contract price for such improvement is$44,565.38and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to$15,731.79 so that the total cost of the improvement will be$60,297.17;and of this cost the City will pay $ --- as its share of the cost, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be 1560,297.17. 2) The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvememt against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. 3) The clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None and the following members were absent: Councilmen Cox smd Mickelson whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 8th day of September, 1980.
