Construction should begin on the <br />second connection to Ramsey in accordance with the timing <br />outlined in the approved comprehensive plans of the affected <br />CAB Area Cities. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />The first paragraph under "Service Area Changes" for the <br />Metropolitan Wastewater Treatment Plant and Service Area <br />(page 59) of the Water Quality Plan, be deleted and re- <br />placed by the following: <br /> <br />The only change in the service area of the Metropolitan <br />Plant (other than some further outward expansion into <br />newly urbanizing portions of cities already partially <br />served by the system) is the addition of the flows from <br />the CAB Area Cities. This shall include the undeveloped <br />north one-half of Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Anoka, Ramsey <br />and Andover, AND the Metropolitan Plants Service area <br />projection table should be changed to reflect the minor <br />additions noted above. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />The last paragraph on page 63 of the Draft, Water Quality <br />Management Development Guide Draft Policy/Plan, publication <br />No. 62-81-025A, dated May 1981, for the purposes of a <br />public hearing to be held June 25, 1981, 1:30 p.m., should <br />be replaced with the following: <br /> <br />The Metropolitan Waste Control Commission should include <br />in its 1981-1986 Development Program the "Lower" segment <br />of the CAB Interceptor. The "Lower" segment is to consist <br />of Sections B-1 through B-7, C-1 through C-7 and C-14 <br />through C-17, all as identified in the Northwest Area 201 <br />Study for Alternative No. 31, AND make the other necessary <br />changes in the Policy Plan to be consistent with Alternative <br />No. 31. <br /> <br /> FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the Metropolitan Council approve a <br />funding program to accommodate the improvement programs indicated above <br />in Items i through 4. <br /> <br /> FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the Minnesota Pollution Control <br />Agency approve the programs for the collection and treatment of sanitary <br />wastes as indicated above in Items i through 4, in order that the health, <br />safety, and general welfare of the people may be protected. <br /> <br /> FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the City Clerks of the communities <br />send copies of this resolution to the Metropolitan Council, the Metropolitan <br />Waste Control Commission, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and all <br />of the State and Federal elected representatives for this area. <br /> <br /> <br />
