whereas, pursuant to the City's Public Improvement project <br />#80-16 the City, by resolution #81-129 determined that the parcel contalna~ <br />two building sites and, therefore, assessed it for the 154th Lane N.W. <br />street improvement on the basis of two (2) buildable units; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Code requires that each building site <br />within the City have at least 200 feet of frontage on a public street <br />unless a variance thereto is granted; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that because of the physical <br />characteristics of the subject parcel an undue hardship will occur if a <br />variance to the 200 foot public street frontage requirement of the City <br />Code is strictly enforced. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> -- That the parcel of land described in paragraph I of this <br />resolution is granted a variance from the City Code such that it may be <br />subdivided in the future into two separate parcels, one with 200 feet of <br />public street frontage and the second parcel having the remaining street <br />frontage of that property described in paragraph I of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann <br />and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 22nd day of September, 1981. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator/Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
