PRELIMINARY PROJECT REQUEST FORM I. PROJECT NAME: City of Ramsey Sanitary Sewer Project West Corridor First Connection II. PROJECT ACTIVITY: 1) Project Location: Phase I of the extension of the 36" gravity trunk sanitary ~i~wer (from City of Ramsey border west to Sunfish Lake Blvd.) See map marked as enclosure (1). 2) Project Activities: Acquisition of right-of-way and new con- struction of trunk sanitary sewer. 3) Detail of Number of Persons Benefited: This sanitary sewer ex- tension will be for the development of prime in- dustrial land which will benefit the entire City. 4) How are they benefited: The pvoject will provide for development of this industrial land which will provide jobs and tax base (City, County and school district). 5) Number of Low Income: III. PROJECT DURATION: It is estimated that it will not exceed one (1) year. IV. Does not apply. V. COMMUNITY'S PROBLEM: The community lacks commercial and industrial de- velopment and the providing of this type of develop- ment will stimulate jobs for the under employed and non employed. It will also stimulate a stronger tax base which would reduce the dependence residential tax base. VI. FUNDING: A) Total revenues needed: $225,000 B) Total CDBG Revenue needed: $115,000 C) Source and Amount of other revenue: Special Assessment $110,000 VII. DETAIL COST OF EACH ACTIVITY: The detail cost of this was taken from Feasibility Report for Trunk Sanitary Sewer and Public Water Facility for the 1983 Urban Area, City of Ramsey dated July 9, 1982, prepared by Peter Raatikka, City Engineer.
