Within thiz~y (30) days prior to the ~.~ and anniversary date <br />of an Employee who will on that date become eligible to receive a <br />proficiency pay step, chat Employee will enter ~ and __nc~. lete the agreed <br />upon proficiency pay examinations. Upon successful completion of this <br />step, the Employee will be elisible to receive proficiency pay at a step <br />couxuensurate with years o£ __o~.loyment as set forth in the schedule <br />attached. If the Employee fails to successEully complete any one or more <br />o£ the exmuinatiorm, a six munth moratorium, extendir~ [ro~ the elisibility <br />anniversary date of the Employee takes effect ~n't~ which the Employee my <br />elect ~o retest in that/those area(s) ~ot passed previously. I£ the <br />Employee a~ain fails to pass, the nex~ eligibility date will be thirty (30) <br />days prior to his nex~ anniversary date. Should the F_rm?loyee a~ain fail to <br />pass the exam(s), he will no~ be a~ain eligible to test mtil thirty (30) <br />days prior to his next proficiency pay step.
