PROPOSAL FOR 1984 POLICE WAGES AND BENEFITS <br /> <br />(Based on LELS contract proposals for 1984 and addressed in that serial order.) <br /> <br />~4 <br /> <br />~5 <br /> <br />#6 <br /> <br />Salaries - 4.8% increase for all steps. <br /> <br />ttolidays - No change from standard 10 days for City employees. <br /> <br />Hospitalization - Increase City's share to that extended to all employees <br /> by previous Council action. <br /> <br />Longevity Pay - Proficiency Pay Plan, using testing for eligibility and <br /> modified 3, 5, 7 and 9% increase over base pay based <br /> on 4, 8, 1Z and 16 years of service (see mediation amend- <br /> ment attached). <br /> <br />Injury-on-duty - Given-MAMA language with 90 day maximum. <br /> <br />Sick Leave - Follow most recently adopted City Ordinance change for all <br /> City employees. <br /> <br />Attachment A <br /> <br />Attachment B <br /> <br />Proficiency Pay explanation.
