CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />09/26/2023 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Promote economic growth and development. <br />Information <br />Title <br />Adopt Resolution #23-195 Approving a Development Agreement for Aldi. <br />Purpose/Background: <br />On July 11, the City Council approved the site plan review and the final plat for the Aldi project southwest of the <br />Sunwood Drive roundabout. The requested action is to approve the development agreement for the approved <br />plans. This is the last step of Council actions before Aldi can close on the property and apply for building permits <br />to construct the building. <br />The development agreement is standard in its form with one thing of note: the site will receive credit for 1.36 <br />acres of development fees that were paid by a previous development that did not go through. <br />Notification: <br />Public notification is not required. <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />Alternatives to Consider: <br />1. Approve the development agreement as presented. <br />2. Approve the development agreement with modifications that the Council requests. <br />3.
