Six items allows are allowed for outdoor storage and parking on parcels less than one two <br />acres in size. <br />Eight items are allowed for outdoor storage and parking on parcels between one and 1.99 <br />acres in size. <br />C. Ten items are allowed for outdoor storage and parking on parcels between two and 4.99 <br />acres in size. <br />d. Ten Twelve items are allowed for outdoor storage and parking on parcels five acres or greater <br />in size. <br />e. Items stored or parked separate from other items shall count as one item each; multiple items <br />stored or parked on a trailer, for instance, count as one item. (Example: two snowmobiles and <br />an empty trailer on the ground are three items; two snowmobiles on a trailer are one item). <br />f. Items that will count towards the number restriction include, but are not limited to, the <br />following examples: trailers, motor vehicles, recreational vehicles, campers, boats, canoes, <br />snowmobiles, jet -skis, all -terrain vehicles, go-carts, motocross bikes, motorcycles, fish <br />houses, and other reerea+,^,na' c. I iI lent, bobcats, skid steers, and self-propelled vehicles. <br />g. Exceptions: Items that will not count towards the number restriction include those items <br />typically seen as accessory to a residential use, up to four each. Examples would be <br />lawnmowers, garden tractors and attachments, bicycles, wheelbarrows, play structures, <br />stepladders, and other items used for routine home and lawn maintenance. <br />Location and setbacks. <br />a. On all residential parcels: <br />1. Motor vehicles stored or parked in a side or rear yard shall maintain a setback of at least <br />five feet from the edge of the parking surface to the lot line(s). <br />2. Equipment parked or stored in the side yard shall maintain a setback of at least five feet <br />from the edge of the parking surface to the lot line(s). <br />3. Equipment parked or stored in the rear yard shall maintain a setback of at least five feet <br />from the lot line(s). <br />Surfacing. <br />a. Inside the metropolitan urban service area (MUSA). <br />1. Currently licensed and operable motor vehicles, the primary purpose of which is for <br />private transportation or recreational use may be parked: <br />(i) In the front yard if on a driveway. <br />(ii) In the side or rear yard provided it is parked on a residential parking surface that <br />consists of either bituminous pavement or concrete. <br />2. Equipment, for which the primary purpose is private or personal/recreational use may be <br />parked: <br />(i) In the front yard if on a driveway. <br />(ii) In the side yard on a residential parking surface of either bituminous pavement or <br />concrete. <br />(iii) In the rear yard on an unimproved surface. <br />b. Outside the metropolitan urban service area (MUSA). <br />1. Currently licensed and operable motor vehicles, the primary purpose of which is for <br />private transportation or recreational use may be parked: <br />(i) In the front yard if on a driveway. <br />(ii) In the side or rear yard provided it is parked on a residential parking surface that <br />consists of either bituminous pavement, concrete, or prepared gravel/Class V of at <br />Page 65 of 160 <br />
