Amendment by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Jensen, to amend the <br />ordinance so that the kennel license expires two years after issue. <br /> <br />Amendment carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Johnson, Jensen, <br />Dempsey, Kociscak, Nixt, and Wivoda. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Commissioner Nixt noted discrepancies between the proposed additions and <br />deletions and the actual proposed ordinance and directed that the ordinance parallel what has <br />been proposed to the Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Jensen, Dempsey, <br />Johnson, Kociscak, Nixt, and Wivoda. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Johnson, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Ordinance #99- to amend Chapter 9 of the Ramsey City Code to eliminate <br />the definition of Dog Kennel from the Definition Section. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: Monthly Status Report <br /> <br />Information noted. <br /> <br />Case #8: Zoning Bulletin and Zoning News <br /> <br />Information noted. <br /> <br />Case #9: Set Time and Place for Commission Meeting with Mr. Bill Hudson <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson explained that City Council would like to have a joint meeting with the <br />Planning Commission, however, they would like the Commission to meet with Bill Hudson prior <br />to such meeting. Bill Hudson has been contracted by the City and has been working with the <br />Council on team building. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Planning Commission was to schedule Bill Hudson at the end of their <br />December meeting. <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson stated that he met with the Mayor and the City Administrator, relaying <br />concerns of the Planning Commission and advising that, although the Commission was not <br />asking for a joint meeting, they are willing to meet.
