NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />1) <br />2) <br />3) <br />4) <br />5) <br />6) <br />7) <br />8) <br />9) <br /> <br />City Council public <br />City Council public <br />City Council public <br />City Council public <br />City Council public <br /> <br />hearing and regular meeting minutes dated May 11, 1999 <br />hearing and regular meeting minutes dated May 25, 1999 <br />hearing and regular meeting minutes dated June 8, 1999 <br />hearing and regular meeting minutes dated June 22, 1999 <br />hearing and regular meeting minutes dated July 13, 1999 <br /> <br />City Council public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated July 27, 1999 <br />City Council special meeting minutes dated August 10, 1999 <br />City Council public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated August 10, 1999 <br />City Council public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated August 24, 1999 <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson stated that on page 15 of the City Council minutes dated July 13, 1999 it <br />states that Mayor Gamec gave direction to have the Planning Commission review the sign <br />ordinance and questioned if that is something they should be doing. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sherman explained that Staff will bring the item to a future <br />Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson informed the Commission that Council requested that no further action be <br />taken in regards to the redevelopment study until they determine the criteria for the study. <br /> <br />Commissioner Johnson stated that he hopes they will reserve some analysis on how to deal with <br />long term basis of Highway #10. <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson stated that there seems to be a lot of items referring to the Planning <br />Commission being discussed during Council work sessions and felt that it would be beneficial if <br />the Planning Commissioners could receive a copy of all work session minutes. <br /> <br />Commissioner Dempsey agreed with the request by Chairperson Anderson. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson requested that in the future, when the Commission receives a sketch plan <br />or preliminary plat, that Staff include how the plan is affected by the Charter. He stated that if <br />the City starts enforcing the charter, maybe some of the items will be tested because there have <br />been questions regarding whether or not some items are constitutional. Chairperson Anderson <br />expressed that it would be a loss to the City if the Pulte development is unable to proceed due to <br />the Charter Amendment. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/September 7, 1999 <br /> Page 12 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
