Ramsey Town Center Apartments <br /> Proposed by <br />Anoka County Community Action Program, Inc. and J Johnson Inc. <br />Site and Building Description <br /> April 27, 2006 <br /> <br />Project: Ramsey Town Center Apartments <br />Applicant/Developers: Anoka County Community Action Program, Inc. and J Johnson Inc. <br />Proposed Owner: ACCAP-Ramsey Town Center Limited Partnership <br /> <br />Location: Lot 2, Block 1 RTC 5th Addition <br />On Sunwood Drive, north and adjacent to the existing municipal ramp. <br /> <br />Type of Use: Mixed use first floor retail/business, second through fifth floor residential. <br /> <br />The applicant plans to construct a five stow building with retail and business on the first floor <br />and residential apartments on the second through fifth floor. There will be 40 units of. 1, 2, <br />and 3 bedroom apartments. Density will be 110 units per acre. <br /> <br />The site is: 226.57 feet long and 70 feet deep, 15,860 square feet, .36 acres <br />The building is: 180 feet long and 60 feet deep, 10,800 sq. ft per floor, 54,000 total <br /> <br />The building architect is: <br />Collage Studio of Design <br />530 North Third Street, Suite 500 <br />Minneapolis, Minnesota 55401 <br /> <br />The exterior materials will consist of brick, stucco, fiber-cement siding, siding and metal deck <br />railings. <br /> <br />Exterior lighting will consist primarily of individual retail bay unit lighting and residential <br />deck lighting. The building will have some general all.purpose lighting consistent with a <br />downtown environment to enhance the buildings appearance and provide security. The <br />building lighting will primarily be located at street level. <br /> <br />Parking will be provided by arranging with the City of Ramsey to use the adjacent municipal <br />parking ramp. <br /> <br />Waste removal will be by inside trash chutes that empty into a trash room with locked doors <br />that are opened only on the day the trash dumpster is emptied. Trash will be accessed <br />through the back alley. <br /> <br />Storm water drainage is included in the overall master plan calculations. <br /> <br />Landscaping is not part of the plan as the building is extended to the property lines, and the <br />landscaping occurs in the street right of way per the master plan. <br /> <br />All utilities are at the property line. Hookups and all outside utility and phone connections will <br />be on the back side (south side) of the building. <br /> <br />47 <br /> <br /> <br />
