FRANTA <br />Sylvia Frolik, Acting Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Stephen Franta of C&L Canvas Crafts is requesting site plan approval to construct a 3,472 square <br />foot manufacturing/retail facility on Lot 2, Block 3, Alpaca Estates. The facility is proposed to be <br />constructed of rock face concrete block. The facility would be used to manufacture and retail boat <br />covers and portable fishouses. The property is zoned B-1 Business and manufacturing is not a <br />permitted use in a B-1 district; Mr. Franta has applied for a conditional use permit for the <br />manufacturing portion of his operation.
