Subsection 9.50.03(2)(c)(7) Preliminary Plat - Design Features is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Proposed method of disposing of surface water drainage and method of conveying surface <br />water drainage within and beyond the limits of the plat to publicly owned or controlled <br />drainage facilities or storm sewers. There shall be no grades less than 1%. When grades <br />are less than 2%, a certificate of grading will be required prior to occupancy. The <br />certificate of grading shall provide a statement from a registered land surveyor statine <br />that they have surveyed the lot and determined that it contains no grade flatter than 1°,4 <br />and conforms to the approved gradim, t}lan. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. ORDINANCE SUMMARY FOR PUBLICATION <br /> <br />The following is the official summary of Ordinance #01-15, which has been approved by the City <br />Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the <br />ordinance <br /> <br />Section 8.01.03c has been amended to require an elevation survey at the time of a footing and <br />foundation inspection for new construction. This requirement may be waived at the discretion of the <br />City Engineer it is determined that the elevation survey is not need to ensure the compatibility of the <br />grade of the lot with the overall area. <br /> <br />Section 9.11.01(13) had been amended to prohibit a property owner from modifying the grade of <br />existing lots that have an approved grading plan except after review and approval by the City <br />Engineer. <br /> <br />Section 9.11.18(3)(c) has been amended to allow residents to create a pond without receiving a <br />conditional use permit provided the created pond has a water surface of less than one-third acre or <br />20% of the total lot size, whichever is less. <br /> <br />Sections 9.11.18(4) Definitions and 9.11.18(5) Administration have been amended to replace all <br />references to the term "conditional use permit" with the term "interim use permit". <br /> <br />Section 9.50.03(2)(c)(7) has been amended to prohibit grades less than 1% and require grades that <br />are less than 2% have a certificate of grading submitted to the City prior to occupancy. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
