ORDINANCE SUMMARY <br /> FOR PUBLICATION <br /> The following is the official summary <br /> of Ordinance #01-15, which has been <br /> approved by the City Council of the City <br /> of Ramsey as clearly informing the.public <br /> of the intent and effect of the ordinance <br /> Section 8.01.03c has been amended <br /> to require an elevation survey at the time <br /> of a footing and foundation inspection <br /> for new construction. This requirement <br /> may be waived at the discretion of the <br /> City Engineer it is determined that the <br /> elevation survey is not need to ensure the <br /> compatability of the grade of the lot with <br /> the overall area. <br /> Section 9.11.01(13) had been <br /> amended to prohibit a property owner <br /> from modifying the grade of existing lots <br /> that have an approved grading plan <br /> except after review and approval by the <br /> City Engineer. <br /> Section 9.11,18(3)(c) has been <br /> amended to allow residents to create a <br /> pond without receiving a conditional use <br /> permit provided the created pond has a <br /> water surface of less than one-third acre <br /> or 20% of the total lot size, whichever is <br /> less. <br /> Section 9.11.18(4) Definitions and <br /> 9.11.18(5) Administration have been <br /> awarded to replace all references to the <br /> term "conditional use permit" with the <br /> term "interim use permit". <br /> Section 9.50.03(2)(c)(7) has been <br /> amended to prohibit grades less than 1% <br /> and require grades that are less than 2°,6 <br /> have a certificate of grading submitted to <br /> the City prior to occupancy. <br /> SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> The effective date of this Ordinance is <br /> thirty (30) days after i~ passage and pub- <br /> lication, subject to City Charter Section <br /> 5.07. <br /> PASSED by the City Council of the <br /> City of Ramsey, Minnesota, the26th day <br /> of June, 2001. <br /> Thomas G.
