ORDINANCE #89-27 <br /> <br />Chapter 150.02 of the City Code <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE MINNESOTA STATE BUILDING CODE: <br />PROVIDING FOR ITS ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT: <br />REGULATING THE ERECTION, CONSTRUCTION, ENLARGEMENT, <br />ALTERATION, REPAIR, MOVING, REMOVAL, DEMOLITION, CONVERSION, <br />OCCUPANCY, EQUIPMENT USE, HEIGHT, AREA AND MAINTENANCE OF <br />ALL BUILDINGS AND/OR STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF RAMSEY: <br />PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS AND COLLECTION OF FEES <br />THEREFORE AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />Section 1. Building Code. <br /> <br /> The Minnesota State Building Code, established pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 16B.59 <br />through 16B.73, one copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk is hereby adopted as <br />the building code for the City of Ramsey. Such code is hereby incorporated in this ordinance as <br />completely as if set out in full. <br /> <br />A. UBC Appendix Chapters 7 and 70 except 6 and 8 of 7003. <br />Chapter 1335 - Floodproofing Regulations, parts 1335.0600 to 1335.1200, and <br />FPR Sections 205.4 to 208.2. <br /> <br />Section 2. Organization and Enforcement, <br /> <br /> The organization of the Building Department and enforcement of the Code shall be as <br />established by Chapter 2 of the Uniform Building Code 1985 Edition. The Code shall be enforced <br />within the incorporated limits of the City, and extraterritorial limits permitted by Minnesota <br />Statutes, 1984. <br /> <br /> The Building Department shall be the Building Code Department of the City of Ramsey. <br />The Administrative Authority shall be a State Certified "Building Official". <br /> <br /> <br />
