The Rural Service Area is further subdivided into three districts. <br /> <br />They are the Urban Reserve Area, the Rural Transition Area and the <br />Rural Service Area. <br /> <br />170.014C DISTRICTS <br />For the purpose of this chapter, the City of Ramsey is divided in <br />the following zoning districts. <br /> <br />R-1R Residential: The intent of this district is to accommodate <br />single family dwelling units on suitable land outside of the Urban <br />Service Area of the City. <br /> <br />R-1U Residential: The intent of this district is to accommodate <br />single family dwelling units in the Urban Area of the City. <br /> <br />R-2U Residential: The intent of this district is to accommodate <br />two family dwelling units in the Urban Area of the City. <br /> <br />R-3U Residential: The intent of this district is to accommodate <br />multiple dwellings, multiple dwelling complexes, and apartment <br />multiple dwellings (and office and commercial developments in <br />accordance with planned unit development requirements) in the Urban <br />Area of the City. <br /> <br />MR Multiple Residential: The intent of this district is to <br />accommodate mid-density residential housing (and office and <br />commercial developments in accordance with planned unit development <br />requirements) intended to act as a transition use between lower <br />density residential districts and the B-1 and B-2 Business <br />Districts. <br /> <br />B-1 Business District: The intent of this district is to <br />accommodate general commercial activities in the Urban Area of the <br />city. <br /> <br />B-2 Business District: The intent of this district is to <br />accommodate certain restricted business uses to act as a buffer <br />between the B-1 Business District and residential districts in the <br />Urban Area of the City. <br /> <br />I-1 Industrial District: The intent of this district is to <br />accommodate general industrial activity. <br /> <br />RB Rural Business District: The intent of this district is to <br />permit certain restricted business uses in areas outside of the <br />City's urban sewer service area. <br />RI Rural Industrial District: The intent of this district is to <br />permit certain restricted industrial uses in areas outside of the <br />city's urban sewer service area. <br />PUD Planned Unit Development: The intent of this district is to <br />allow for flexibility in density and usage. <br /> <br /> <br />
