Such <br /> system shall be reviewed and accepted by the City. The cost of installation, <br /> operation and maintenance of such system shall be the responsibility of the <br /> property owner. <br /> <br />St~bd. 3. Sewage Disposal <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to place, deposit or permit to be deposited in <br /> any unsanitary manner upon public or private property within the City or in any <br /> area under the jurisdiction of the City, human or animal excrement, garbage or <br /> other objectionable waste. <br /> <br /> [ <br /> <br />b. ,~ It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge into any natural outlet within the <br /> I City or in any area under the jurisdiction of the City any sanitary sewage, <br /> i industrial wastes or other polluted waters. <br /> <br /> In areas serviced by municipal sewer, it shall be unlawful to construct or <br /> maintain any individual privy vault, septic tank, cesspool or other facility <br /> intended or used for the disposal of sewage, except when used in connection <br /> with temporary construction projects or temporary recreation programs. <br /> <br /> The owner of a dwelling, building and or other structure or property used for <br /> human occupancy, employment, recreation, or other purpose, situated within <br /> the City having a public sanitary sewer of the City available in any street, alley, <br /> right-of-way or easement is hereby required at the owner's expense to install <br /> suitable toilet facilities therein, and to connect such facilities directly with the <br /> proper public sanitary sewer in accordance with the provisions of this section <br /> within ninety (90) days after notice from the City to do so. Until such <br /> connection, the owners of all dwellings, buildings, other structures or <br /> properties not provided with public or municipal sanitary sewer facilities shall <br /> :comply with all ordinances and regulations applying to individual sewage <br /> disposal systems and their use. <br /> <br /> e. No person shall deposit the contents taken from any vault, privy, cesspool, <br /> septic tank or private drain into any sanitary sewer of the City unless a permit is <br /> obtained from the City. <br /> <br /> Su)~d. 4. Discharge of Prohibited Substances <br /> <br />No~person shall discharge or permit to be discharged, directly or indirectly, into the <br />i sad~tary sewer system of the City, rain water from roofs, yards, lawns, streets, or <br />all/~ys; ground water; water or other fluid used for the operation of air cooling and <br />!airiconditioning equipment in plants or units, any gasoline, naphtha, benzine, <br />ke~sene, turpentine or any spirit gas or fluid, or any materials of an explosive or <br />suffocating nature, or that may possibly create combustible or suffocating gases or <br />'al~ors; waters having a PH lower than 5.5 or higher than 9.5 or having any other <br />:or~osive property capable of causing damage to wastewater facilities; nor discharge <br />Ir I?ermit to be discharged directly or indirectly into said sanitary sewer system any <br />,m~¥el, sand, dirt or any other heavy materials or any substances. <br /> <br />Page8 <br /> <br /> <br />
