"Operable Motor Vehicle" - A vehicle that can be presented in a self-propelled <br />condition within seven (7) days of the City's request for such action. <br /> <br /> "Parking Surface, Residential" - The entire area under a vehicle or piece of <br />equipment plus a one-foot extended perimeter. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. REPEAL <br /> <br />The following language in Section 9.11.10 (Off Street Parking) is hereby repealed: <br /> <br />No more than one (1) one-ton motor vehicle bearing a commercial license and no <br />commercially licensed trailer shall be parked or stored in a residential district except <br />when loading, unloading or rendering a service. No commercial vehicle shall be <br />parked or stored in a residential disl~ict except for short-term (two (2) hours or less) <br />when unloading, loading or rendering a service. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. SUMMARY <br /> <br />The following official summary of Ordinance g96-22 has been approved by the City <br />Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />It is the intent and effect of Ordinance g96-22 to amend Ramsey City Code Chapter 9 <br />(Zoning and Subdivision of Land), Section 9.02 (Definitions) to amend or include <br />"Coverage", "Driveway"; "Motor Vehicle, Commercial Use"; "Impervious Surface", <br />"Motor Vehicle, Private Use"; "Equipment, Commercial Use"; "Equipment, Private Use"; <br />"Residential Parking Surface"; "Operable Motor Vehicle"; and Section 9.11.10 (Off Street <br />Parking) to amend the regulations for parking private and commercial vehicles and <br />equipment in the residential districts. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. <br /> <br />EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />The effective date of this Ordinance is thirty (30) days after its passage and publication, <br />subject to City Charter Section 5.07. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Ramsey City Council the 10th day of December, 1996. <br /> <br /> ATTEST~ j~ _ <br /> <br />~ ~dminisa'ator - <br /> <br />'~Mayor <br /> <br />Introduction Date: November 12, 1996 <br />Posting Dates: November 12 - December 10, 1996 <br />Adoption Date: December 10, 1996 <br />Publication Date: December 13, 1996 <br />Effective Date: January 13, 1997 <br /> <br /> <br />
