- 12 - <br /> <br /> 1. The drop box shall be watertight and contructed of durable <br />materials not subject to excessive corrosion or decay. Each outlet shall have <br />at least six (6) inches of sidewall space and the side. of any outlet shall be at <br />least four (4) inches from any corner. <br /> <br /> 2. The invert of the inlet pipe shall be at least one (1) inch higher <br />than the invert of the outlet pipe to the next trench. <br /> <br /> 3. The invert of the outlet pipe to the next trench shall be at least <br />two (2) inches higher than the invert of the outlet pipe of the trench in which <br />the box is located. <br /> <br /> 4. When sewage tank effluent is delivered to the drop box by a pump, <br />the pump discharge shall be directed against a wall or side of the box on which <br />there is no outlet. <br /> <br /> 5. The drop box shall have a removable cover either flush or above <br />finished grade or covered by no more than six (6) inches of soil. <br /> <br />Subd. 2 PRESSURE DISTRIBUTION <br /> <br />Pressure distrubution laterals shall be sized as shown in Table <br /> <br /> 2. Laterals shall be spaced no further than 20 inches from a trench <br />or bed wall. <br /> <br />3. Laterals shall be spaced no further than 40 inches apart· <br /> <br /> 4. The dosing chamber shall be watertight and contructed of sound and <br />durable materials not subject to excessive corrosion or decay. <br /> <br /> 2. There shall be one (1) or more manholes, at least twenty (20) <br />inches in dimension, and preferably located directly above the dosing device. <br />The manhole shall extend through the dosing chamber cover to final grade and <br />shall be so constructed as to prevent unauthorized entry. <br /> <br /> <br />
