- 14 - <br /> <br />''damage, destroy, uncover, deface or tamper with any structure, <br /> appurtenance or equipment which is a part of the City sanitary <br /> sewer system or the City water system. <br /> <br /> 210.0220 Opening Hydrants. No person, except <br />authorized City employees or a memeber of the Fire Department in <br />case of fire, shall be allowed to open any fire hydrant in the <br />water system for any purpose whatsoever, without first securing <br />authorization from the City. <br /> <br /> 210.0221 Variamees. The Council may permit <br />variances from the strict appliance of any of the provisions of <br />this ordinance if it is satisfied that there are special <br />circumstances or conditions affecting the premises for which the <br />variance is requested and that the granting of such variance will <br />not materially affect adversely health, safety or general welfare <br />or public or private property. Any variation permitted under <br />this provision must be noted on the permit. <br /> <br /> 210.O222 Penalties. Any person violating <br />any provision of this ordinance shall upon conviction thereof be <br />punished by a fine not exceeding $700.00 or by imprisonment not <br />exceeding ninety (90) days, or both. Each day the violation <br />continues shall constitute a separate offense. Any person <br />violating any of the provision of this ordinance may also be held <br />liable to the City for any expense, loss or damage occasioned the <br />City by reason of such violation. <br /> <br />Section 2.
