Section 4. <br /> <br />Section 5. <br /> <br />Section 6. <br /> <br />Section 7. <br /> <br />"Subdivision" as used herein shall mean the division of a <br />parcel of land into two (2) or more separate-parcels where <br />the result is the creation of one or more parcels which is <br />twenty (20) acres or less in size and having a width less <br />than 500 feet. <br /> <br />VARIANCE <br /> <br />The City Council in its discretion may grant a variance to <br />the subdivision moratorium created herein if the proposed <br />subdivision has been approved by the City Council and <br />Planning Commission as being substantially in compliance <br />(in the City's opinion) with the new subdivision regulations <br />to be adopted by the City. The City Council may require <br />that the subdivider enter into a written agreement with the <br />City wherein his subdivision proposal is described and he <br />agrees in writing to follow the City's new subdivision <br />regulations to be adopted. <br /> <br />INSTRUCTION <br /> <br />The City Staff is hereby directed forthwith to present pro- <br />posed subdivision regulations based on the enabling authority <br />of M.S.A. 462.351 et al to the City's Planning Commission for <br />its review and thereafter to the City Council for its final <br />review and adoption. <br /> <br />LIMITATIONS <br /> <br />This ordinance shall not halt, delay or impede a subdivision <br />which has been given preliminary approval prior to its <br />effective date. <br /> <br />EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after its passage and publication. <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council this the lOth day of February, 1981. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />
