d. Street Signs, Street signs of a design approved by the Township <br />shall be installed at each street intersection at the developer's expense. <br /> <br /> e. Continued Street Maintenance. Minimum Township road construction <br />standards must be met for one (1) year h'om the' date of iss~ance of the first <br />building permit for property adjacent to the roadway. In o~,,~r to insure that <br />the road is constructed in the proper manner the subdivider shall post a <br />surety bond or other satisfactm'F security in the amount of $1,000.00 per <br />one-half (1/2) miles of accepted roadway. If the Township engineer determines, <br />during or at the termination of this one (1) year period that the roadway has <br />not been properly constructed, the developer shall be notified to remedy the <br />problem. If he does not do so within a reasonable time, the Township may <br />use the money depos tied as security to perform the necessar~ corrective <br />construction. <br /> <br /> 9.14 PUBLIC U~ILI~IT~S. <br /> <br /> a. Underground Utilities. In all subdivisions which contain more than <br />one lot and the lot s Ize is 40,000 square Ieet or less, all telephone, electric <br />and gas service lines shall be placed underground within dedicated ~ublic <br />ways or recorded easements in such manner as not to conIlict with other under- <br />ground services. All underground installation of service lines within street <br />right-o£-way shall be completed prior to street sur~acing. Upon completion o£ <br />the installation of underground service lines in dedicated public ways, a tracing <br />and two (2) copies of plans and specifications showing the completed installation <br />shall be filed with the Township clerk. <br /> <br /> b. Utility <br />shall be placed in <br /> <br />Poles. All utility poles, except those providing street lighting, <br />rear lot line easements where feasible. <br /> <br /> c. Easements. All underground utility service lines 0 including water, <br />drainage and sanitary sewer systems, which traverse private property shall be <br />installed within recorded easements. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. VIOLATION AND PENALTY. <br /> <br /> Anl~ person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this <br />ordinance shall bo guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall <br />be punished by a fine or not more than $300.00 or by imprisonment not to exceed <br />ninety (90) days for each offense.- ~ <br /> <br /> The platting, replatting, subdiving or conveyance of land not in accordance <br />with the requirements o! this ordinance may be enforced by mandamus, injunction, <br />or any other appropriate remedy tn any Court of competent Jurisdiction. <br /> <br /> <br />
