Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION#23-282 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING STABILIZED FULL-DEPTH RECLAMATION DESIGN PROPOSAL FOR MSA ALPINE DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-11 WHEREAS,the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct MSA Alpine Drive between Puma Street and Armstrong Boulevard as identified within the 2023—2032 10-Year Capital Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-130, adopted June 13, 2023, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk, Inc., for topographic survey of the project area; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-129, adopted June 27, 2023, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc., for a geotechnical report of the project area; and WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution#23-201, adopted August 22,2023,the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for MSA Alpine Drive Reconstruction, Improvement Project#24-11; and WHEREAS, the project is determined to require a stabilized full-depth reclamation mi design, which is beyond the ability of City Staff to perform; and WHEREAS,request for proposals were submitted to two firms for the purpose of obtaining quotes for completing the proposed stabilized full-depth reclamation mix design services; and WHEREAS, the one (1) stabilized full-depth reclamation mix design quote received is tabulated below; and STABILIZED FULL-DEPTH RECLAMATION MIX DESIGN PROPOSAL PROJECT AMERICAN ENGINEERING TESTING, INC. IP 24-11 MSA Alpine Drive Reconstruction $211875.00 WHEREAS, the quote of American Engineering Testing, Inc. in the total amount of$21,875.00 for said services in accordance with the proposals is the lowest responsible quote and their quote shall be and hereby is accepted. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor and City Administrator to enter into a contract with American Engineering Testing, Inc. for said stabilized full-depth reclamation mix design services for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey.
