Temporary Ermployee <br /> Employees who work in temporary positions. Temporary jobs might have a defined start and end <br /> date or may be for the duration of a,specific project. Temporary employees may b+e assigned to <br /> work a full-time or part-time schedule. Except as required by law, temporary employees do not <br /> earn benefits or credit for seniority. In order to comply with health care reform law while avoiding <br /> penalties, part-home employees will be scheduled with business needs and in a manner that ensures <br /> positions retain pa 1� _be offered health <br /> osi 1 part-time status as intended or in some rare instances, may <br /> insurance. <br /> Transfer—Movement of an employee from one City position to another of equivalent pay. <br /> Weapons <br /> Weapons are defined to include all legal or illegal firearms., switchblade knives, or any other object <br /> modified to serve as a weapon or has the,primgLy.,Pumose of serving as a weapon. <br /> Work Week-The regular work week for City employees is forty hours, in addition to a lunch <br /> period, Monday through Friday, except as otherwise established by the City Administrator or <br /> designee 'in accordance with needs of the department.
