The applicant is requesting
a variance to construct a garage nearer the front property line than the principal structure at 7319
- 162nd Lane NW. The house is located approximately 90 feet form the nearest point of the cul-
de-sac right-of-way. The applicant is proposing to construct a garage which will be
approximately 40 feet from its nearest point of the cul-de-sac right-of-way. The site plan
submitted and an on-site inspection reveal that sharp declines in topography, wetlands, mature
tree growth, and alternate drainfield locations prohibit construction of a garage in the side or rear
yard. Staff recommends approval of the request.

Citizen Input

None.

Board of Adjustment/April 6, 1999
