CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />Topic Report: McKnight Foundation <br />Grant <br />By: Patrick Trudgeon, AICP, Community <br />Development Director <br /> <br /> SEY <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The McKnight Foundation has informed City Staff that the Foundation will be awarding a <br />$$0,000.00 ~rant to Ramsey to undertake the Ramsey3 project. The City Council will recall that <br />the Ramsey is an unique project that will help the City determine a growth strategy for the next <br />30 years. The Ramsey3 process will include a sarics of forums organized around critical issues <br />facing Ramsey, a series of visioning sessions using Open Space Technology that will maximize <br />citizen input, and assistance to City Staff and policy makers to implement the outcomes of the <br />process. <br /> <br />Staff would like to discuss the project with the Council on how to proceed with the <br />implementation of project. <br /> <br />Action Statement: <br /> <br />The City Council should give Staff direction on how the City should proceed with the <br />implementation of the Ramsey3 project. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />CCWS: 06/06/06 <br /> <br /> <br />
