MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Joint Meeting with Ramsey Town Center LLC <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak suggested that since the meeting with the City Council and the Ramsey <br />Town Center LLC was not televised, she thought it would be a good idea for Mr. Feges fi'om <br />Ramsey Town Center, LLC to do a presentation to be televised by QCTV. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec inquired if there should be a Councilmember present during the presentation. <br /> <br />The Council did not feel that was necessary. <br /> <br />Consensus of the City Council was to authorize Mr. Feges to do a presentation regarding the <br />Town Center to be televised by QCTV. <br /> <br />2) Closed Session Regarding C.R. #116 Condemnation <br /> <br />A closed session was scheduled for March l0th at City Hall at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />3) Proposed Functional Classification Changes by Anoka County <br /> <br />Principal City Engineer Olson stated that Anoka County is proposing a functional class change <br />for some of the roadways that are currently County roads within the City. He presented a map for <br />the Council to review identifying the proposed changes. He explained that staff will be <br />requesting either support or non-support of the proposed changes in the near future. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec requested that staff provide the Council with a description of A Minor and B <br />Minor. He also noted that funding could be made available for the extension of the median at <br />C.R. #116 to the east of T.H. #47. He inquired if the Council would be in favor of the project <br />moving forward. <br /> <br />Principal City Engineer Olson noted that the concern in the past has been that west bound traffic <br />would not be able to get into the apartment building unless there was the opportunity for a u-turn <br />and C.R. #116 and T.H. #47. <br /> <br />Consensus of the City Council was to add the extension of the median on C.R. #116 east of T.H. <br />#47 to a future Public Works agenda. <br /> <br />4) Update on NPDES Phase Implementation <br /> <br />Principal City Engineer Olson stated that the MPCA has issued the City somewhat of a reprieve <br />by extending the application deadline to May 9, 2003. <br /> <br />City Council/February 25, 2003 <br /> Page 17 of 18 <br /> <br /> <br />
