a whole array of private and public decision-making, impacted by public capital expenditures. <br />Therefore, the CIP should receive ratification only if the Council perceives actions contemplated <br />within the plan as reasonable and planned within justified time frames. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to adopt the City of <br />Ramsey's Capital Improvement Program for the years of 2003-2007 noting that it is a forecasting <br />tool and not actual, committed projects and expenditures. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Cook, Zimmerman, Elvig, <br />Kurak, Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #9: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee met on February 25, 2003 to discuss the following cases: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Consider Appointment to Parks and Recreation Commission <br />The interview panel recommended that City Council adopt Resolution #03-02-057 <br />appointing Mark Lehman to the Park and Recreation Commission with Laurie Dustin as <br />an alternate. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Request to End Probationary Period for Full-Time Records Management Clerk <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution #03-02- <br />058 ending the probationary period for full-time Records Management Clerk, Amy Dietl, <br />effective February 19, 2003. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Request to End Probationary Period for Full-Time Accounting Clerk <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution #03-02- <br />059 ending the probationary period for full-time Accounting Clerk, Jennie Loeffler, <br />effective February 9, 2003. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Request to End Probationary Period for Full-Time Assistant City Administrator <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution #03-02- <br />060 ending the probationary period for full-time Assistant City Administrator, Heidi <br />Nelson, effective February 19, 2003. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to ratify the <br />recommendation of the Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, Kurak, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman.
