COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT

Chair Cook reported there will be a Tree Sale and Environmental Expo at the Ramsey Elementary
School on Saturday, April 24, 1999 from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. He encouraged the public to get
involved and to call City Hall with any questions. The Commission will have a booth at this event
which will be expanded from past years.

Commissioner Droegemueller asked if there is any new action that needs to be taken on the golf
course. Mr. Boos stated the Council has tabled this item in order to speak with the PCA.

Commissioner Ostrum asked if the rinks have been frequently used this winter. Mr. Boos stated that
each rink has been used close to the same amount as past years. He informed the Commission that
there are approximately 30 to 35 users per day. Mr. Boos stated that the rinks have now been closed
for the season due to the unseasonably warm weather.

Commissioner Rolfe asked how many weeks the rinks were used this season.
