January 8, 2024 <br /> Joe MacPherson, P.E. <br /> Chief Officer of Transportation <br /> Anoka County Highway Department <br /> 1440 Bunker Lake Boulevard <br /> Andover, MN 55304 <br /> RE: Support of Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) Funding Application for a <br /> Roundabout at Nowthen Boulevard NW (CSAH 5) and Ramsey Blvd NW (CSAH 56) in Ramsey. <br /> Dear Mr. MacPherson: <br /> The City of Ramsey is in full support of Anoka County's Highway Safety Improvement Program funding <br /> application for a roundabout and associated improvements at the intersection of Nowthen Boulevard <br /> with Sunwood Drive. <br /> The Nowthen Blvd and Ramsey Blvd intersection is an important connection point for motorists, <br /> bicyclists and pedestrians traveling within and through Ramsey.
